First Lego League Competition

Congratulations to our 1st Year Robotics Club who proudly represented us at our very first robotics competition on Thursday, 26th February, in the new state of the art Polaris Engineering Building in Dublin City University.

While we didn’t take home the top prize, the team performed exceptionally well in the Robot Game, using impressive strategy and coding skills to maximise their points. They also gained invaluable ideas, experience, and exposure by competing in a real robotics competition environment.

The event included an Innovation Project, a Robot Design Project, and team presentations — all of which challenged our students to think creatively, collaborate effectively, and showcase their learning.

By building on their existing skills and pushing themselves to improve, our team has put the club in a fantastic position for next year. With another year of experience behind them, they will return older, more confident, and even wiser.
