5th Year student Rory O Reilly travelled to Dáil Éireann on Friday 1st May along with 174 other young delegates from Comhairle na nÓg.
He delivered an impressive speech in the chambers in front of an Ceann Comhairle, Verona Murphy on the topic of education & specifically the Irish language and continuous assessment. Following the debate, Rory and his fellow delegates successfully voted to make the Irish language a priority topic at the upcoming national convention. Well done Rory!
